The best about podcasts is that unlike radio you can pause, rewind, or fast-forward anytime you want. This is something you cannot do with a radio. The only thing required to access podcasts is a good RSS reader. The RSS reader is what decodes the received podcast and plays it back for you so it is the most critical interface.
