Make Money on eBay - Your Products must be of High Quality

One of the mistakes made by some who hope to make money on eBay is to sell products that are of inferior quality. Not only will that lead to lots of questions, complaints and refunds, but it can also lead to the actual termination of your business. Set high standards for the quality of the products that you sell and hold yourself and your product suppliers to those standards.

Your customers expect that the products they purchase from you on eBay will be of high quality. They expect that whenever quality is compromised that fact will be clearly stated upfront. They expect that there will be no flaws or imperfections in your products. Further they will hold you to that standard throughout the transaction. Meeting that standard is rewarded as you make money on eBay. Not meeting that standard can result in business failure.

So what do you trade whenever you start selling poor quality products? What are the results of selling inferior products? What happens when you fail to clearly inform prospective buyers that there are problems with the products that you sell? It starts with the elimination of the possibility to make money on eBay. But there is more; hold onto your hat as we cover just a few of those consequences!

Expect the first level of feedback to come in the form of email questions that are centered around quality issues. Next there will be complaints about your products and the issues that your buyers are dealing with. That will be followed by requests for refunds. Next will be formal negative feedback. Finally customers will move on to your competitors. They will make sure that other prospective buyers are informed that you are selling inferior products and that you are less than honest in your business. That feedback string likely means the death of your eBay business and the elimination of any chance to make money on eBay.

Don’t compromise the quality of the products that you sell on eBay. If there are quality problems clearly state so upfront in your listings. Know that your success and ability to make money on eBay depends on setting high standards for quality and then holding yourself and your suppliers to those standards.

To your eBay success!
